Altogether 1.85 million persons owned listed shares or mutual funds in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, 1.85 million persons owned mutual funds or shares quoted in the home country at the end of 2021. Thirty-four per cent of the household-dwelling population were owners. The number of owners grew by around 146,000 persons from 2020. Mutual funds were owned by 1.47 million persons and listed shares by 853,000.
