Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased by 27 per cent in November 2022

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 0,4 million tonnes in November 2022. Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased by 27 per cent compared to November 2021. In November 2022 domestic water transport took place almost only in coastal waterways.

Oil products were transported most, in total 204,146 tonnes, which was 47 per cent of all transport. The second most transported was timber, 100,110 tonnes.
