According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, households' consumption expenditure was, on average, EUR 27,800 per consumption unit in 2022. Childless couples aged under 65 spent EUR 33,700 per consumption unit, which is highest among the household types in the comparison. Two-supporter families with children spent EUR 28,700 per consumption unit.

  • In addition, the database tables of the preliminary release concerning heating modes and cars have been updated with supplemented data. The final results of the Household Budget Survey 2022 will be published in April 2024.
