Number of trips by train in passenger traffic increased by 7 per cent in the second quarter of 2023
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, a total of 21 million trips was travelled by rail in the second quarter of 2023, which was 7 % more than in the same quarter of 2022. Freight transferred by rail was 7 million tons, which was 2 % less than in the second quarter of 2022.
