Number of immigrations nearly 50,000 in 2022

According to Statistics Finland, the number of immigrants into Finland was record high, 49,998 in 2022, having been 29,000 to 36,000 in the previous years. Migration to Finland grew particularly from Russia, the Philippines and Turkey. Ukrainians staying in Finland under the Temporary Protection Directive are not visible in immigrants in 2022.
