Net immigration of Finnish citizens turned again negative in 2021 and 2022

According to Statistics Finland, the net immigration of adult Finnish citizens was 1,632 persons negative in 2022. Net immigration has decreased in all educational groups since the rise in 2019 to 2020. The net immigration loss was biggest for those with upper secondary level qualifications in 2022. Net immigration remained positive only among completers of comprehensive school.
