According to Statistics Finland, 327 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in May 2024, which is 84 more than in the corresponding period one year earlier. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,110, which is 135 staff-years more than in May 2023.
