release | Families 2023According to Statistics Finland, there were 1,466,954 families in Finland at the end of 2023, which is 2,186 families more than in the year before. The number of families has increased by way of Ukrainian families having received a municipality of residence in Finland. While in 1993 the commonest family type was a married couple with children, in 2023 the commonest family type was a married couple without children.
