Read more about the changeAccording to Statistics Finland, the median for monthly earnings of full-time wage and salary earners was EUR 3,564 per month in 2023. The highest paid decile of wage and salary earners earned at least EUR 5,972. The highest paid decile among women earned at least EUR 5,220 and among men at least EUR 6,586 per month.

- The lowest paid decile of full-time female wage and salary earners earned at most EUR 2,396 per month and the lowest paid decile of full-time male wage and salary earners at most EUR 2,651 per month.
- The pay differential between women and men is biggest between the highest paid women and the highest paid men.
- Besides task-specific pay, total earnings also include all regularly paid bonuses, as well as benefits in kind and overtime compensations, but not holiday bonuses and performance-based bonuses. The earnings are gross earnings.
