Finnish enterprises' investments abroad nearly EUR 8 billion in 2022

According to Statistics Finland's data, Finnish enterprises had business activity in 5,788 affiliates located in 137 countries in 2022. Finnish enterprises abroad employed 594,940 persons. Enterprises’ turnover abroad was EUR 249 billion. EUR 7.9 billion was invested abroad. Nearly 50 per cent of the investments were targeted at EU countries. Of individual countries, most was invested in Sweden.
