Real estate maintenance costs decreased by 0.6 per cent in January to March 2024

Only maintenance costs of residential buildings rose

The maintenance costs of residential blocks of flats increased by 1.7 per cent in the first quarter of 2024. The costs of industrial buildings went down by 4.9 per cent, those of office buildings by 2.6 per cent, those of wholesale and retail trade buildings by 2.7 per cent, those of day care centres by 0.3 per cent, those of school buildings by 1.1 per cent and those of health care centres by 0.6 per cent compared to the previous year.

Real estate tax and plot rent are not included in the index of real estate maintenance costs 2021=100.
