Read more about the changeAccording to Statistics Finland, around 1.9 million domestic leisure trips with overnight stay were made in May 2024, which is one fifth more than one year earlier. The increase in number of trips was due to a growth in trips with free accommodation. The number of leisure trips abroad also grew slightly from the previous year and was around 0.6 million in May 2024.
