Net immigration nearly 58,000 persons in 2023

According to Statistics Finland, the number of immigrants to Finland in 2023 was record high at 73,236. The number of emigrations was 15,322 and the record net immigration was 57,914 persons. In particular, Ukrainians arriving in Finland under the Temporary Protection Directive increased net immigration.
