Clearly most migration gain for Uusimaa from people with foreign background from elsewhere in Finland

According to Statistics Finland, in migration between regions, migration gain from persons with foreign background was accumulated in Finland in only two regions in 2023, in Uusimaa 3,948 persons and in Pirkanmaa 13 persons. Pirkanmaa, 3,777 persons, received the largest migration gain from persons with Finnish background from elsewhere in Finland. The biggest migration loss from persons with Finnish background was in turn recorded in South Ostrobothnia, 738 persons.
