According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,639,600 at the end of February 2025. Our country's population increased by 2,386 persons during January-February. The reason for the increase was migration gain from abroad, since immigration exceeded emigration by 4,881. The number of births was 2,798 lower than that of deaths.
