Finland’s preliminary population figure was 5,644,772 at the end of June 2025

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,644,772 at the end of June 2025. During January-June Finland's population increased by 8,801 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad. The number of immigrants was 14,474 higher than that of emigrants. The number of births was 7,277 lower than that of deaths.
