According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,645,651 at the end of July 2025. During January-July Finland's population increased by 9,680 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad. The number of immigrants was 17,598 higher than that of emigrants. The number of births was 7,940 lower than that of deaths.
