According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,655,715 at the end of October 2025. During January-October Finland's population increased by 19,744 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad. The number of immigrants was 30,214 higher than that of emigrants. The number of births was 10,402 lower than that of deaths.
