Number of leisure trips abroad grew by one tenth in August 2025

According to Statistics Finland, nearly 0.7 million leisure trips abroad were made in August 2025, when trips with overnight stay in the destination country, cruises and same-day trips are included. The number of domestic leisure trips with overnight stay was 2.1 million, which is around one fifth fewer than in August 2024.
