Turnover in industry grew by 0.4 per cent in June 2025
According to Statistics Finland, working day adjusted turnover in industry (TOL BCD) increased by 0.4 per cent in June 2025 from June 2024.

Turnover grew most in the chemical industry
Working day adjusted turnover increased most in June in the chemical industry, by 16.3 per cent from the previous year. Turnover also grew in the electronic and electrical industry (2.6%), the metal industry (1.2%) and the food industry (0.9%). Turnover decreased most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 13.2 per cent from one year ago. Turnover in the forest industry was 12.4 per cent lower than one year previously.
Export turnover increased in several main industries
Export turnover increased in several main industries in June. Export turnover grew most in the chemical industry, by 23.3 per cent from the year before. Export turnover in mining and quarrying was 7.1 per cent higher than one year earlier. Export turnover in the electronic and electrical industry increased by 3.1 per cent and in the metal industry by 2.1 per cent from one year ago. Export turnover decreased most in the textile industry (-12.7%) and the forest industry (-11.6%).
Domestic turnover decreased most in the forest industry in June, by 14.3 per cent from one year ago. Domestic turnover decreased by 13.9 per cent in mining and quarrying. In the metal industry, domestic turnover was 1.1 per cent lower than one year previously. Domestic turnover grew most in the electronic and electrical industry, by 6.7 per cent from one year ago. Domestic turnover in the textile industry was 4.8 per cent higher and in the chemical industry 2.6 per cent higher than one year earlier.
Turnover grew in June from the month before
Seasonally adjusted turnover in industry grew in June 2025 by 1.1 per cent compared to May. Turnover decreased by 2.1 per cent in May and by 3.1 per cent in April from the month before.
