According to Statistics Finland, 366 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in May 2025, which is 39 more than in the corresponding period one year earlier. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,231, which is 121 staff-years more than in May 2024.
