According to Statistics Finland, one-half of persons aged 16 to 89 had seen hostile or derogatory messages on the Internet against persons or groups of people in the past three months in 2025. Sixty-one per cent of persons aged 16 to 89 had ordered or bought something online. Forty-one per cent of persons aged 16 to 89 had used generative artificial intelligence. Sixty-eight per cent of those aged 75 to 89 had used the Internet.
