Read more about the changeAccording to Statistics Finland, prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased in the whole country by 9.5 per cent year-on-year and by 6.1 per cent from the previous quarter in July to September 2025. 2.6 per cent more transactions of old one-dwelling houses were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.

- Prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by 9.8 per cent in large towns and by 9.3 per cent outside large towns in July to September 2025 compared with one year ago.
- Prices of one-dwelling house plots decreased by 10.7 per cent in the whole country compared with a year ago.
- Transactions of old one-dwelling houses decreased in municipalities with 60,000-100,000 inhabitants, where the number of transactions was seven per cent less compared to one year earlier. The number of transactions increased most in municipalities with 20,000-59,999 inhabitants (9.3%).
- 3.9 per cent more transactions of one-dwelling house plots were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.
- Prices of new one-dwelling houses remained unchanged from a year ago but increased by 0.3 per cent from the previous quarter.
