Turnover in construction grew by 1.6 per cent in February 2025 from one year ago
According to Statistics Finland, the working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises increased by 1.6 per cent in February 2025 compared to the previous year. The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 5.5 per cent.

The sales volume of construction increased in most industries
Working day adjusted turnover in building construction fell by 2.0 per cent and sales volume rose by 2.0 per cent in February 2025 compared to one year before. In turn, working day adjusted turnover in civil engineering decreased by 5.0 per cent and sales volume by 5.4 per cent from the previous year. Turnover in specialised construction activities went up by 3.6 per cent and sales volume by 7.7 per cent from one year earlier.
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction decreased compared to January
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction decreased by 0.6 per cent in February 2025 compared to January 2025. Correspondingly, seasonally adjusted sales volume decreased by 0.7 per cent from January 2025.
