Turnover in construction decreased by 0.8 per cent in July 2025 from one year ago
According to Statistics Finland, the working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises decreased by 0.8 per cent in July 2025 compared to the previous year. The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 3.1 per cent.

Construction industries developed in two directions
Working day adjusted turnover in building construction fell by 4.8 per cent and sales volume decreased by 1.3 per cent in July 2025 compared to one year before. In turn, working day adjusted turnover in civil engineering did not change from the previous previous year, while sales volume increased by 0.8 per cent from the previous year. Turnover in specialised construction activities went up by 2.2 per cent and sales volume by 6.0 per cent from one year earlier.
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction increased compared to June
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction increased by 1.1 per cent in July compared to June. Correspondingly, seasonally adjusted sales volume increased by 1.2 per cent from June.
