Turnover in trade grew by 0.9 per cent in February 2025
According to Statistics Finland, turnover in total trade adjusted for working days increased by 0.9 per cent from one year ago in February 2025. The working day adjusted volume of sales in
total trade, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, decreased by 0.7 per cent.

Working day adjusted turnover in retail trade grew by 1.6 per cent in February
Among the main industries of trade, turnover in motor vehicle trade remained in February on level with the previous year. Sales volume in motor vehicle trade fell by 5.3 per cent from one year back.
Working day adjusted turnover in the trade industry with the biggest turnover, wholesale trade, went up by 1.0 per cent in February. However, sales volume in wholesale trade declined by 0.3 per cent from one year back.
Turnover in retail trade grew by 1.6 per cent in February. The volume of sales fell by 0.7 per cent from the year before.
Seasonally adjusted turnover grew compared to January
Seasonally adjusted turnover in total trade grew by 0.2 per cent in February compared to
January. Seasonally adjusted sales volume went up by 0.1 per cent from the previous month. In January, seasonally adjusted turnover, in turn, grew by 0.4 per cent from December and sales volume remained on level with the previous month.
