Construction remained the biggest industry in the environmental goods and services sector in 2024

According to Statistics Finland, the output of the environmental goods and services sector was EUR 47 billion in 2024. The data were compiled with the new classification of environmental activities, which replaces the previous classification of products and services. Construction remained the biggest industry with an output of EUR 17 billion, and manufacturing was the second biggest with EUR 11 billion.
