The volume of electricity purchased by manufacturing decreased by 2.8 per cent from the previous year. The use of acquired heat grew by one per cent.

- In year 2024 industrial energy use decreased by 0.8 per cent compared to the previous year.
- The share of wood fuels in total energy use was 41 per cent, which corresponded to the level of 2022 and 2023.
- The consumption of fossil fuels and peat decreased by 6.5 per cent. The fall was most significant in the consumption of oil, 12 per cent.
- The consumption of purchased electricity grew by 2.8 per cent and was 22 per cent of total consumption.
