According to Statistics Finland, 274 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in August 2025, which is 32 fewer than in the corresponding period one year earlier. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 946, which is 200 staff-years fewer than in August 2024.
