According to Statistics Finland, 348 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in October 2025, which is nine more than in the corresponding period one year earlier. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,190, which is 279 staff-years fewer than in October 2024.
