Read more about the correctionAccording to Statistics Finland, 3,616,700 persons had completed a post-comprehensive level qualification in 2024. Seventy-five per cent of the population aged 15 or over had completed a post-comprehensive level qualification.

- Those aged 45 to 49 had the highest level of education, as 48 per cent of them had attained a tertiary level qualification.
- The share of those with tertiary level qualifications grew among persons aged over 50 and in the 20 to 29 age groups.
- The region with the highest educated population was Uusimaa, where 41 per cent had completed a tertiary level qualification. In all, 45 per cent of women and 36 per cent of men had completed a tertiary level qualification.
- In 2024, one quarter of the population aged over 15 were without a post-comprehensive level qualification.
