Number of high-growth enterprises decreased by 9 per cent in 2024

EnterprisesAccording to Statistics Finland, there were 3,150 high-growth enterprises in all industries in 2024. The number of employees in high-growth enterprises was 250,100 persons.

Most high-growth enterprises in manufacturing and trade
Although there were most high-growth enterprises in 2024 in manufacturing (374 enterprises) and in trade (356 enterprises), high-growth enterprises employed most in administrative and support service activities, and in human health and social work activities. The number of high-growth enterprises in accommodation and food service activities grew to 280 enterprises. The growth of 52 per cent in the industry was the second biggest of all industries.
