Prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by 0.8 per cent year-on-year in January to March 2026
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased in the whole country by 0.8 per cent year-on-year and by 1.0 per cent from the previous quarter in January to March 2026. 5.6 per cent fewer transactions of old one-dwelling houses were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.

- Prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by 0.6 per cent in large towns and by 0.9 per cent outside large towns in January to March 2026 compared with one year ago.
- Prices of one-dwelling house plots increased by 9.2 per cent in the whole country compared with a year ago.
- Transactions of old one-dwelling houses increased in municipalities with over 100,000 inhabitants, where the number of transactions was 1.5 per cent more compared to one year earlier. The number of transactions decreased most in municipalities with under 20,000 inhabitants (-9.7%).
- 16.5 per cent more transactions of one-dwelling house plots were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.
- Prices of new one-dwelling houses went up by 1.3 per cent from a year ago and by 0.3 per cent from the previous quarter.
