Prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by 3.6 per cent year-on-year in April to June 2026
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by 3.6 per cent year-on-year in the whole country in April to June 2026. Compared with the previous quarter, prices increased by 1.3 per cent. 7.3 per cent less transactions of old one-dwelling houses were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.

- Prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by 4.8 per cent in large towns in April to June 2026 compared with one year ago. Outside large towns, prices decreased by 3.2 per cent.
- Prices of one-dwelling house plots decreased by 1.4 per cent in the whole country compared with a year ago.
- Transactions of old one-dwelling houses decreased most in municipalities with under 20,000 inhabitants (-8.9%).
- Number of transactions of one-dwelling house plots remained nearly the same than in the corresponding period one year earlier.
- Prices of new one-dwelling houses went up by 1.8 per cent from a year ago and 0.5 per cent from the previous quarter.
