Rents of dwellings 2026, 2nd quarter
Non-subsidised rents increased by 0.1% in April to June 2026
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, rents of non-subsidised dwellings decreased by 0.3 per cent in Greater Helsinki and increased by 0.4 per cent the rest of Finland in a year in April to June 2026. The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings rose most in Rovaniemi (2.0%), Vaasa (1.3%) and Joensuu (1.1%). The rents decreased most in Porvoo (-1.9%), Kerava (- 1.6%) and Vantaa (-1.2%).

- In April to June 2026, the rents of non-subsidised dwellings have risen most from the previous year in one-room flats in Vaasa and Rovaniemi (1.9%), in two-room flats in Rovaniemi (2.1%) and in family dwellings in Rovaniemi (1.7%).
- The rents of non-subsidised one-room flats fell by 0.2 per cent in Greater Helsinki. In the rest of Finland, the rents of one-room flats went up by 0.6 per cent.
- The rents of government-subsidised dwellings went up by 2.0 per cent in Greater Helsinki and by 1.7 per cent in the rest of the country in a year.
- The rents of government-subsidised dwellings increased most in Vaasa, by 3.3 per cent, in Rovaniemi, by 2.8 per cent, and in Joensuu, by 2.7 per cent.
