Real estate maintenance costs increased by 3.3 per cent in January to March 2026

Costs of industrial buildings rose most

The maintenance costs of residential blocks of flats rose by 2.5 per cent, those of health care centres by 2.4 per cent, those of day care centres by 2.7 per cent and those of school buildings by 3.1 per cent in the first quarter of 2026. The costs of industrial buildings increased by 5.4 per cent, those of office buildings by 3.9 per cent and wholesale and retail trade buildings by 4.8 per cent compared to one year before.

The total index of real estate maintenance increased by 2.8 per cent from the previous quarter.

Real estate tax and plot rent are not included in the index of real estate maintenance costs 2021=100.
