Value of animal output grew in 2025

According to Statistics Finland's second preliminary data for 2025, the value of animal output was around EUR 2,712 million, which is nearly five per cent higher than one year before. The combined value of total agricultural goods output remained on level with the previous year.

Key selections

  • The value of output of vegetables and horticultural products decreased by around nine per cent in 2025.
  • Producer prices for beef rose by almost 17 per cent from the previous year.
  • The prices of cereals fell by around 10 per cent, on average.
