Labour productivity rose moderately in 2024 and 2025
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the productivity of private sector labour rose moderately in 2024 and 2025. However, the change in labour productivity was slightly more negative in 2023 than previously reported.

- The contribution of multi-factor productivity to the change in labour productivity was 0.8 percentage points in 2024 and 0.9 percentage points in 2025.
- The contribution of capital intensity was 0.3 percentage points in 2024 and 0.4 percentage points in 2025, while the contribution of the quality of labour input was 0.0 percentage points in both years.
