Altogether 392 bankruptcies were instigated in March 2026

According to Statistics Finland, 392 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in March 2026, which is 42 bankruptcies more than in the corresponding period one year before. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,068, which is 135 staff-years fewer than in March 2025.

  • The 12-month moving annual change in instigated bankruptcy proceedings was 10 per cent in March 2026.
