Altogether 357 bankruptcies were instigated in April 2026

According to Statistics Finland, 357 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in April 2026, which is 24 bankruptcies more than in the corresponding period one year before. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,093, which is 39 staff-years fewer than in April 2025.

  • The 12-month moving annual change in instigated bankruptcy proceedings was 10 per cent in April 2026.
