Domestic leisure travel decreased in March 2026

According to Statistics Finland, around 1.2 million domestic leisure trips with overnight stay were made in March 2026. Around 0.4 million leisure trips abroad were made. Trips abroad include trips with overnight stay in the destination country, overnight cruises and same-day trips. The number of domestic leisure trips went down by one tenth and that of leisure trips abroad fell by close on one tenth from the previous year.
