Life expectancy of boys highest in measuring history in Finland in 2025

According to Statistics Finland, the number of deaths in 2025 was 59,209, which is 942 more than one year earlier. In 2025, provisional life expectancy at birth was 79.8 years for boys and 84.7 years for girls. Compared to 2024, life expectancy grew for boys by 0.17 years and fell for girls by 0.03 years.
