Annual change of producer price index for services was 1.3 per cent in 2025

According to Statistics Finland, producer prices for services in total (BtoAll) increased by an average of 1.3 per cent from 2024 to 2025. Prices of services for other enterprises and for the public sector (BtoB) increased by 1.1 per cent and prices of services for households (BtoC) by 1.7 per cent.

  • From 2024 to 2025, the rise in producer price indices for services in total (BtoAll) was particularly caused by higher prices of human health services, business and other management consulting services and food and beverage serving services.
  • The increase in BtoAll prices was curbed especially by lower prices of and rental and leasing services of construction and civil engineering machinery and equipment, and rental and leasing services of cars and light motor vehicles compared to 2024.
  • The rise in BtoB prices was particularly caused by higher prices of business and other management consulting services, warehousing and support services for transportation, and human health services compared to 2024.
  • The rise in BtoC prices was particularly caused by higher prices of food and beverage serving services, human health services, and rental and operating services of own or leased real estate and compared to 2024.
