Number of accidents at work increased in 2024
releaseAccording to the data of Statistics Finland, the number of occupational accidents increased in 2024 from the previous year. A total of 119,252 accidents at work occurred in 2023. This was 869 accidents more than in the year before. The number of wage and salary earners' accidents at workplace with minimum 4 days incapacity was 7.9 per one million hours worked in the year 2024 (8.2 in the year 2023).
