According to Statistics Finland, the working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises increased by 12.4 per cent in June 2026 compared to the previous year. The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 12.0 per cent.

Turnover in construction grew in all industries in June

Working day adjusted turnover in building construction grew by 8.1 per cent and sales volume by 7.9 per cent in June 2026 compared to one year before. Working day adjusted turnover in civil engineering increased by 14.1 per cent and sales volume increased by 5.8 per cent from the previous year. Turnover in specialised construction activities grew by 15.6 per cent and sales volume by 15.3 per cent from one year earlier.

Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction decreased compared to May

Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction decreased by 1.3 per cent in June from May. Seasonally adjusted sales volume decreased by 1.4 per cent compared to May.
