New orders in manufacturing grew by 67.9 per cent year-on-year in July 2026

Changes in the examined main industries

In July 2026, enterprises received more orders in all examined main industries than twelve months ago. New orders grew most in the metal industry, where the value of orders was 93.8 per cent higher than in the year before. The significant growth in the value of orders in the metal industry was caused by new large orders received by the shipbuilding industry. The value of orders in the chemical industry was 5.7 per cent higher and in the manufacture of paper, and paper and board products 2.2 per cent higher than one year earlier.
