Turnover and value added data of financial and insurance enterprises added to the structural business and financial statement statistics
Date of change:Starting from the statistical reference year 2021, turnover and value added data on financial and insurance activities (TOL K) will be added to the structural business and financial statement statistics. If an enterprise has not reported turnover in its financial statement, it has been calculated using industry-specific formulas compiled by Eurostat, which are found in the documentation of the statistics.
The formulas for value added are also found in the documentation of the statistics. Turnover and value added data on financial and insurance activities have been added to the structural business and financial statement statistics as part of the implementation of the new EU Regulation on European business statistics (EBS).
