Structural business and financial statement statistics

Structural business and financial statement statistics contain data by industry on the number, personnel and finances of enterprises operating in Finland. Data recorded on enterprises include, for example,

• industry
• sector
• legal form
• number of personnel
• turnover
• wages and salaries sum

The statistics include enterprises which operate on a market basis and have turnover, other operating income, balance sheet, personnel or investments during the statistical reference year. Own-account workers keeping single-entry accounts are also included in the statistics.

The statistics are compiled from the data of the Tax Administration and the Financial Supervision Authority and with enterprise inquiries. Data are published twice a year.
