Education is no longer divided into curriculum-based initial vocational education aimed at young people and vocational education aimed at adults preparing for a skills examination.

Previously, the population of the database table included persons in curriculum-based initial vocational education leading to a qualification, and the table did not include persons in apprenticeship training. Starting from the statistical reference year 2021, the population includes persons who intend to complete the entire qualification in initial vocational education, and the table also includes persons in apprenticeship training.
