Slightly over one-half of vocational education completed within the target time in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, completion of vocational education within the target time continued weakening in 2021. In other sectors of education, the share of those having completed education within the target time remained on level with 2020. Vocational education had been completed in three-and-a-half years by 56 per cent and general upper secondary education by 78 per cent of those having started studies. Fifty-nine per cent completed a Bachelor's degree at university of applied sciences in four-and-a-half years and 35 per cent completed a Master’s degree at university in five-and-a-half years.
